Admission Process

Portal Application
Submit scanned documents via the JLU admissions portal and pay the 800 RMB processing fee.
Online Interview
Participate in a mandatory online evaluation and interview conducted by the Norman Bethune medical team.

Visa Form JW202
The university will coordinate with the government to release your official JW202 form (4 to 6 weeks).

Submit the original Admission Notice and JW202 form to your local Chinese Embassy for an X1 Student Visa.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in Grade 12.
- Minimum 70% score in English in high school.
- NEET qualification is mandatory for Indian applicants (a score of 250+ is highly competitive).
- Age must be between 18 and 25 years old.
- IELTS (6.0+) or TOEFL (80+) score card (for applicants from non-English speaking countries).

- Valid Passport Copy (photo page, valid until at least late 2027)
- NEET Scorecard (for Indian applicants)

Fee Structure
Exchange rate used: 1 RMB = ~13.5 INR (May 2026). First-year total includes Tuition (33,000 RMB), Hostel (6,000 RMB), Insurance (800 RMB), Visa processing (800 RMB), and Medical check-up (500 RMB). Central heating in winter is included in the hostel fee.
